Short Overview
The Savage Gear 3D Rad 20 cm 32 g is a realistic rat-shaped lure designed for targeting large predators on the surface and just below it. It is an excellent choice for anglers targeting pike, catfish, and other predators when they want a provocative, noisy, and visually striking presentation.
Description
This lure was developed based on a 3D scan of a real rat, giving it a highly convincing appearance and natural movement in the water. Thanks to its two line tie points, it can be worked as a surface wake lure or as a lure that dives to approximately 2–3 ft (60–90 cm) while producing an attractive S-curve action. High buoyancy allows it to rise quickly during pauses in the retrieve, while the lip helps it deflect through grass, branches, and lily pads.
Features
- Realistic 3D rat imitation for targeting large predatory fish
- Two retrieve actions: surface wake action and subsurface diving action
- Two line tie points: mouth for diving, lip for surface retrieve
- Floating construction that sits high in the water
- Body made from hard and highly durable ABS plastic
- Nylon Mesh joint for more natural action and better mobility
- Soft ears, legs, and tail for added realism
- Replaceable parts: tail, ears, and legs
- Braid-reinforced tail for greater durability
- Factory-rigged belly treble hook
- Lip helps deflect off grass, branches, and lily pads
Technology
- 3D scanning technology – developed from a 3D scan of a real rat for maximum realism
